Communicating Circular Manufacturing: Tracking the Impact of CIRCULOOS Dissemination Activities
Effective communication and dissemination are essential to ensure that research and innovation projects create real impact beyond the consortium. Within the CIRCULOOS project, dedicated communication and dissemination strategies have been implemented to promote the project’s vision, engage key stakeholders, and ensure that its tools and results reach the manufacturing community.
The periodic dissemination of retrospectives provides an overview of activities throughout the project, evaluates the performance of communication channels, and measures progress against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). These activities include developing the CIRCULOOS website, engaging on LinkedIn, publishing newsletters and press releases, participating in industrial and scientific events, and collaborating with related European initiatives. Together, these channels create a multi-layered communication ecosystem designed to reach manufacturers, technology providers, researchers, policymakers, and the wider public.
The reports also analyse the effectiveness of specific campaigns, such as the Expression of Interest (EOI) and upcoming Open Calls, which aim to attract manufacturing stakeholders interested in adopting circular economy principles and collaborating within the CIRCULOOS ecosystem. Through targeted outreach activities, including webinars, online content, media distribution, and event participation, the project continues to expand its community and strengthen connections with potential adopters of circular manufacturing technologies.
Beyond reviewing past achievements, the deliverables also define a forward-looking communication and dissemination roadmap, outlining upcoming campaigns, events, training initiatives, and content creation strategies for the remaining project phases. By continuously monitoring performance metrics and adapting communication approaches, CIRCULOOS ensures that its results remain visible, accessible, and impactful for the European manufacturing ecosystem.
