On 30 September 2026, CIRCULOOS will bring together Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), manufacturing stakeholders, technology providers and circular economy experts at Mobile World Capital Barcelona for a practical day focused on turning circular manufacturing solutions into scalable opportunities.
Hosted in Barcelona by Mobile World Capital Barcelona, the event will be part of the CIRCULOOS 4th Plenary Meeting. Day 2 will open the discussion to DIHs and other organisations supporting innovation, interested in helping manufacturing SMEs adopt circular practices and digital technologies.
The event will combine practical project demonstrations, exchanges with DIHs, presentations from CIRCULOOS-supported teams and a final jury session recognising the solutions with the strongest potential for innovation, circularity and market uptake.
From project results to practical SME support
CIRCULOOS develops digital tools, methodologies and collaboration models to support more circular and dynamic manufacturing value chains.
Participants will explore CIRCULOOS’ three industrial pilots, digital tools and training resources, followed by a discussion on how DIHs and EDIHs can support their uptake and scaling across manufacturing ecosystems.
Showcasing circular manufacturing experiments
In the afternoon, CIRCULOOS EXD teams will present their final results in a fast-paced pitch session, outlining the challenge addressed, the proposed solution, its contribution to circularity, and its business and scalability potential. A jury of project partners, invited experts, and DIH representatives will assess each solution based on innovation, circularity impact, and business potential. The day will conclude with a forward-looking discussion on commercialisation pathways, future collaboration, funding opportunities, and links with upcoming European initiatives.
