From circular solutions to industrial scale CIRCULOOS Workshop

From Circular Solutions to European Industrial Scale

Europe has developed a strong portfolio of promising circular solutions. The opportunity now is to connect them with industrial demand, trusted digital infrastructures, investment and regional ecosystems capable of deploying them at scale.

On 30 September 2026, Mobile World Capital Barcelona and CIRCULOOS will bring together manufacturing companies, technology providers, research organisations, clusters, public authorities and Digital Innovation Hubs, for a working session.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore new possibilities for collaboration, innovation and scale-up in circular manufacturing. Participants will meet potential technology, manufacturing, research and regional partners; discover tested approaches that can be replicated across new value chains; and explore opportunities for future demonstrators, investment and European collaboration. Whether you are looking for a solution, an industrial use case, a deployment partner or the right consortium for a future European project, the workshop will help you build valuable connections and identify concrete pathways for collaboration. The focus will bring one key question to the centre of the discussion:

What partnerships and demonstrators does Europe need to make circular manufacturing scalable?

CIRCULOOS has developed and tested digital tools, methodologies and collaboration models for more circular and dynamic manufacturing value chains. Its industrial pilots, supported experiments and training resources provide a practical foundation for identifying successful approaches, accelerating adoption and defining new opportunities for European collaboration.

Hosted in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most connected digitals, industrial and entrepreneurial ecosystems, the workshop will combine project results with a forward-looking collaboration agenda. Participants will identify industrial challenges, explore replication opportunities, and connect complementary capabilities that can evolve into future demonstrators and European project proposals.

Participants will be able to:

  • Discover tested circular manufacturing solutions in plastics, leather and wood.
  • Meet organisations seeking technologies, pilots, deployment partners, and regional replication opportunities.
  • Discuss how data spaces, digital twins, traceability and sustainability assessment can support circular value chains.
  • Identify funding, commercialisation and collaboration pathways beyond CIRCULOOS.
  • Express interest in future European consortia coordinated or facilitated through the MWCapital ecosystem.

This workshop is a collaborative space for organisations ready to shape the next generation of European circular manufacturing initiatives.
