Circuloos Report on training activities and platform

Empowering SMEs with Skills for Circular Manufacturing

The transition toward circular manufacturing requires not only innovative technologies but also the right skills and knowledge within industry. The CIRCULOOS Report on Training Activities and Platform (M18) presents the first steps in developing a structured training strategy designed to support SMEs and mid-sized companies in adopting circular manufacturing practices.

The report outlines the methodology used to identify skills gaps across the manufacturing ecosystem and describes how targeted training programmes will help companies understand and implement key technologies such as circular supply chain orchestration, data-driven optimisation, and digital platforms. Through surveys, focus groups, and collaboration with Digital Innovation Hubs, CIRCULOOS aims to design practical training initiatives that align with real industry needs.

By building a dedicated learning framework and preparing training content for the CIRCULOOS platform, the project is helping equip manufacturers with the competencies required to adopt circular business models, integrate advanced digital tools, and strengthen sustainable supply chains.
