1. Can you briefly introduce your team? What’s your story and what drives you?
LOOP-E unites four complementary partners: Simtera (Türkiye), The Data Cooks (Netherlands), ROLD (Italy), and BEKO (Italy). Together, they combine industrial AIoT expertise, DPP software innovation, and manufacturing excellence. Each partner contributes domain-specific knowledge—Simtera in real-time data integration, TDC in DPP development, and ROLD and BEKO as industrial pilots— driven by a shared goal to enable circular, data-driven manufacturing.
2. In simple words, what is your project about and how is it linked with CIRCULOOS?
LOOP-E fully aligns with the CIRCULOOS vision by implementing all core components — CDP, GRETA, and RAMP — to establish a real-time DPP infrastructure that connects every actor in the circular value chain. The project demonstrates how real-time operational data can feed directly into the DPP, enabling actionable insights across Reuse, Refurbishment, Remanufacturing, and Recycling stages.
By integrating Circuloos tools with AI-driven lifecycle analytics, LOOP-E transforms DPPs into operational systems that go beyond compliance — creating a circular model where environmental and production data flow seamlessly across OEMs, assemblers, and service providers. This integration empowers manufacturers to apply R strategies based on verified data and achieve true circular economy performance, proving the Circuloos ecosystem’s ability to support digital, traceable, and sustainable manufacturing.
3. How did you come up with this project idea/concept and what innovative benefits will it bring to the end users?
The project builds on proven AI and IoT results from earlier collaborations and addresses the lack of visibility across manufacturing lifecycles. Its innovation lies in turning DPPs into living, real-time systems that combine process intelligence, lifecycle data, and automated impact scoring. End users—manufacturers, recyclers, and refurbishers—gain precise, actionable insights to improve sustainability, reduce waste, and extend product life.
4. What type of synergies do you want to explore/are already exploring withother circular economy partners?
LOOP-E seeks synergies with recyclers, refurbishers, and digital service providers to extend DPP data beyond production—supporting full end-of-life traceability, secondary material recovery, and integration with repair and reuse networkswithin the Circuloos ecosystem.
5. What are your plans for the future when it comes to the development of your ideas & projects?
Following the LOOP-E pilot, partners plan to expand the DPP-enabled infrastructure across BEKO’s and ROLD’s wider networks and other manufacturing sectors. Future developments will extend real-time DPP capabilities toward reuse and remanufacturing, scaling the solution to a TRL 9 environment and contributing to the broader Circuloos circular data ecosystem.
